Introducing the Runequests breakout race for 5th edition, the most detailed non-human species published in a non-heartbreaker game. The Uz, the weakened, cannibalistic and mostly blind Dark Trolls, who lurk in their cave kingdoms, occasionally trading but mostly eating people they meet. They're better than the description suggests and if anyone is interested I would highly recommend Trollpak for the original Runequest 2/Classic.

Ability Score Modifiers: +2 Constitution, +1 Strength
Size: Medium
Speed: 30 feet
Vision: Darkvision 60 feet
Underworld Dweller: You have Proficiency in Stealth
Sunlight Sensitivity: You suffer Disadvantage on sight-based Perception checks and on attack rolls when you or the object of your attack/scrutiny is in direct sunlight.
Echolocation. You have blindsight up to 60 feet. You lose blindsight for as long as you are Deafened.
Keen hearing. You have advantage on wisdom (perception) checks that rely on hearing.
Rock Gut: You are capable of deriving sustenance from any organic food source or inorganic substance such as rock. However you may only digest rock and other inorganic substances once per long rest. You have resistance to poison while using Rock Gut. You cannot digest Magical Items.
Uz Weapon Training: You have Proficiency in Club, Greatclub, Mace and Sling.
