Worldbuilding Project 24

Last year Dungeon23 came as a great idea and swiftly fell apart since a room a day was really a fair amount of work for people who switftly lost interest. That's a pity becuase yoiu could really make somethign out of dozens of megadungeons. Bruce Heard's Calider setting for instance features a roving Dungeon Moon which is comprised on nothing but dungeons and the monsters that issue from it when it gets too close.

I decided not to do the proposed Hex24 (even worse), but my own writing project. I've had a setting kicking up in my head since high school when I first got into D&D and I think I should put it to text.

Every week day I'm going to write one, 100 word article on my D&D setting. This will continue for 50 weeks and in the last 2 weeks of 2024, I'm going to clean it up and present it.

It's already a momentous task with every article not being enough room and seemingly spawning two more references to write. But as I write it, the references will begin to loop and the articles will become less about me trying to match different ideas I was inspried by and more about me being able to grab a name and work it into a setting based on the articles I've already written, giving it the depth that comes from creative connectivity and not a series of "Best Of" references I've shoved together.

I hope it turns out alright.
